Job Announcement

The organization:

Kumnit Kumar Organization is a domestic non-governmental and non-profit organization without political, religious, racial affiliations registered with the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia since September 2017.

Our mission:

Support the development of children’s free thought and emotional capacities so they will contribute consciously to a more just society.

The position: KKO is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to lead the implementation of our “Brick2School” project, based in Phnom Penh with occasional travel to project sites in Kandal province. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and piloting the Brick2School project, ensuring quality and timely implementation of all activities.

KEY DUTIES

  • Prepare activity planning and leads monthly planning meeting with staff

  • Responsible of the overall M&E system implementation; reports field activities to the executive team meeting and consolidate technical quarterly reports

  • Communicate with the donor regarding project progress, challenges and success

  • Inputs and reviews project financing with Finance manager

  • Coordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders/partners

  • Checks and approve all cash advances, disbursements and schedules for project staff

  • Coordinates and prepares the design of new projects and proposals in close collaboration with project managers and with the support of ED and advisor

  • Participate in fundraising operations and proposals development with ED and KKO board

  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Executive Director, and KKO Advisor

    Requirements for the position:

  • Honest, high commitment,

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Good interpersonal skills, leadership and flexible to work as a team and independently

  • Willing to travel to project site

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • At least 5 years experienced in implementing and managing education project.

  • Fluency in English and Khmer (Both Writing and Speaking)

  • Experience in project management, project proposal writing and reporting

  • Knowledge of administration, procurement and budgeting

  • Ability to develop training manuals/ relevant tools for project needs

  • Competency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Driving license and ability to drive a car is a must

Range net salary from 600 USD to 700 USD dollars depending on candidate qualifications and experiences plus other benefit based on KKO’s policy.
